ACT has partnered with Arizona State University’s Universal Learner Courses (ULC) to offer an exclusive opportunity for eligible ACT test takers to explore college-level learning — with no financial risk. ULCs are flexible, affordable online college courses from ASU that let high school students earn college credit without the pressure — you only pay if you’re happy with your grade.
The $25 registration fee is waived, so you can start learning without paying anything upfront.
If you’re happy with your grade, you can choose to pay $400 to add the course to your official ASU transcript and earn college credit.

After sending your qualifying score:

Note: Use your legal name: Be sure to submit your legal name (not a preferred name) to avoid delays in receiving real college credit in the future!
Start learning: Select your class and use the code ACTASU25 at check out.
Watch for your ASURITE ID: After the drop deadline of your first enrolled course, you will be provided an ASURITE which is important for adding any credits you’ve earned to your transcript.

Has taken the ACT test
Is a first time ULC learner
ULC courses are accredited.
Once you have completed a course and if you have earned a C or above, congrats! If you’d like to add the course to your ASU transcript for college credit, you’ll need to pay a fee of $400 following the completion of your course if you are satisfied with your grade.
